Do you want to master English, but
got confused how?
Well, you’ve come to the right place
then. Here are some tips that will be useful for you to master English faster:
1. On and On
Yes, on and on, never off. I mean
you must study continuously. Because studying English once a week isn’t enough
to make any real progress. The best way to improve your English quickly is to
spend at least 30 minutes or 1 hour every day. Try to listen to, read, and even
say things in English. If you want to speak English fluently, you have to make
it as part of your everyday life.
2. Be a Native
This
is something people mostly don’t do. People who learn English always think that
English is a second language or a foreign language. A student always think that
he is a student that is learning a second language. This is the attitude that
we must change. It will differ between failure and success. Stop thinking of
yourself as a student, who is learning English,
and start to think of yourself as someone who speaks English,
as a native speaker. It’s a small change indeed, but it will make you feel more
confident and help you to use the English you already know more effectively and
more continuously.
3. Do a Better Listening
When students listen to a native
English-speaker, they focus on understanding what all the words mean. This is surely
important, but there is actually something we can do more with listening. Try
listening not just to what the words mean, but be aware also of how the person
says the words. With this, we also learn pronunciation while listening.
This is of course easier said than
done. When you listen to native English speakers, it can be hard to understand
every single word that is spoken. They might use many words you don’t know,
talk too fast or have a strange accent. But do not worry, because all of these will
be overcome by the time goes. We just need to do it on and on.
.
4. Use It or Lose It
“Use
it or lose it” This an expression in English which basically means if you don’t
practice an ability, you might forget it. This idea can be used to help you remember
new English vocabulary because the best way to remember new words is to use the
words right away so the words will stay in your
memory. When you learn new words, say them in sentences a few times over
the next days and you’ll never forget them.
5. Do not stick to Grammar Too Much
Grammar is indeed
important, but if we want to speak English fluently, we must not be afraid of
making mistake in grammar. Even native English-speakers make grammar mistakes!
Fluency is about being able to communicate. That’s why sometimes it’s important
that you don’t stick to grammar, so you can go out and practice those writing,
reading, listening and speaking skills in the real world. Write now, Listen
Now, Speak Now, Grammar will follow.
GOOD LUCK
